Khouri’s Oriental Rug Company started one hundred years ago when Ralph Khouri opened his first Khouri’s Oriental Rug Store on Boylston Street in Boston. The name Khouri has since become legendary in the world of oriental rugs. Khouri’s has always been a family business. Ralph’s son Ernie and many other family members were soon working in the store. By the 1960s, the whole family was working at the store.
